The summer of 2025 marks a special milestone for Karibu online : four years of working with Heaten, a pioneering company in industrial heat pump technology. What started as a bold startup has evolved into a scale-up success story – culminating in an acquisition that signals even greater growth on the horizon.

From Vision to Reality

When we first met Heaten, the team consisted of just four people and a big idea: to design and build a next-generation industrial heat pump. Today, they’ve grown to a team of 40 and counting, with a product that’s gone from CAD sketches to full-scale manufacturing and commercial deployment.

Karibu online had the privilege of helping lay the initial IT roadmap, ensuring that Heaten’s digital infrastructure could scale alongside its ambitious engineering goals. Together, we designed and implemented a suite of transitional software systems – lean, tailored tools built for today, yet ready for tomorrow.

Built for Growth with Fractal Forge

All systems were developed using Fractal Forge, our own framework for scalable, domain-driven software. This allowed us to deliver lean custom tools with rapid iteration cycles – perfectly suited to an evolving company like Heaten – while keeping the door open for future transitions to enterprise platforms when needed.
