From a startup of 5 to a team of 65 people, involved since 2021.
It started with a report
In 2021 I wrote a report on the technical vision and strategy for the entire software landscape of Heaten, then still a startup of 5. Heaten has since been acquired by INNIO and the team is now 65 people. I am still involved as a consultant.
Along the way I did far more than fits on this page, technical leadership included. A selection of the systems I built:
- Anomaly detection. Spotting anomalies in the heat pumps and sending notifications, based on live sensor data.
- Workflows and CAD. Workflow management and CAD drawing management for the design of the heat pump's compressor.
- Purchasing and stock. Purchase orders, stock and bills of materials, without a big ERP.
The perfect solution to scale beyond spreadsheets without a big ERP
We were expanding quickly and needed proper software to manage purchase orders, inventory, bill of materials and more. Instead of committing to a big ERP system, Douwe built a flexible solution that adapted to our needs, while giving us the ability to scale.
